The cemetery is on private property and has nad no care for over 10 years. That is the newest grave we found there. The graveyard is overgrown with blackberries, poison ivy, and fallen trees and weeds. This lovely old stone is covered with overgrown vines, weeds, and fallen trees in an old cemetery located on private property.
Roberta writes:
Left: - This stone was hidden under loads of overgrown brush, weeds, poison ivy, and fallen trees. We wet the stone to try to read it and used foil over the stone to confirm what it said. It is Agness Keen. Her mother's stone was found beside it.Right: - This old stone has been cleaned and covered with foil and rubbed to see the details on the stone. The detail does not stay on the foil long enough to really keep it but allows the old etchings to be read and recorded. It says "Our Darling Baby Agness Dau. of W.I and P.G. Keen; Born Mar 13, 1903 and Died April 10, 1910." The words are enclosed by an engraved circle
