Per Charlotte Burd (descendant)
"I agree with you that the 2 John R JOBES on the 1880 Johnson Co, Il census are one and the same person. The J R JOBE , wife S E and daughter Risty B (instead of Wesley B), listed living in the household with the Hines family, are John R JOBE, wife Sarah Elizabeth TAYLOR (dau of Abraham and Elizabeth M ESKEW TAYLOR (she later married F M HINES, after Abraham's death) and Arista B (later married Harry JOBE). This enumeration was made on June 16, 1880.
Then the next John JOBE, wife S and daughter A B shown in their own household are John R JOBE, wife Sarah Elizabeth and daughter Arista B. This enumeration was made on July 6, 1880.
I'm assuming they were living with her mother on June 16, but had moved into their own home by July 6, 1880. I don't have anything on a Wesley JOBE being a son of John R and Elizabeth TAYLOR JOBE."
