James A. Jobe, Retired FarmerFuneral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Methodist Church of Barnard for James A. Jobe, 78-year-old retired farmer, who died at o'clock last night at the home of his son, B. A. Jobe of King City, where, he had resided eight months. Rev. Marvin Green, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Barnard cemetery. He was born October 23, 1865 at Barnard, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Jobe. He was married February 5, 1887, to Flora Yeaman, who preceded him in death. Mr. Jobe, who had suffered a long illness, was a member of the Methodist church of Barnard, the I. O. O. F. lodge of Barnard and the Woodman of the World. Survivors include three brothers, Frank Jobe, King City; S. A. Jobe, Guilford, and Caleb Jobe, Hopkins, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Thompson, state of California.
