It states that he (John) is the son of Dorcas JOBE and Dennis. It further states information from Cass Co People given by Nellie Harty Tidwell has John born 1818.
*1850 U.S. Census lists Cintha Harty - 27 yrs old - born IL - with her brother Jonathan Harty in Cass Co, TX. - Precinct 2, page 747.*1858 - living Cass Co., Texas and James B. Henderson, who I've found to be a doctor. Never once is she listed with the last name Henderson - always as Harty.
Is is possible that Cynthia had some kind of medical or mental condition and that is why the doctor is representing her?
