Daily Corinthian (Corinth,Miss.), March 7, 1955
Mrs. Ada Jobe, 81-year-old Alcorn County native and resident of Rt. 4, Corinth, died at her home yesterday (March 7, 1955) at 3 p.m. after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services for Mrs. Jobe were scheduled to be held today at 3 p.m. at Wheeler Grove with Revs. Walter Smith and W. R. Prince officiating. Burial was to follow in Wheeler Grove Community Cemetery.The deceased was a member of Shady Grove Methodist Church and was married to John W. Jobe, who died in 1940.
Survivors include: four sons, W. K. and B. N. Jobe of Rt. 4, Corinth, T. P. Jobe of Childersburg, Ala., and P. f. Jobe of Grenada, Miss.; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were scheduled to be: W. C. McLain, Bill Wilkerson, Tommie D. Ross, James Evans, William Johnson and Pat Glissen.
