BAPTISMS, MARRIAGES & BURIALS

This section contains information from the Parish Registers of St Andrew's Church, Stanley, and All Saints' Church, Stanley Common. Also included are the Bishops' Transcripts for Stanley and all the Methodist baptisms that I have been able to locate. I have not been able to include the earliest parish register book for Stanley (baptisms & burials before 1782 and marriages before 1754) since it is so badly damaged that producing a full and accurate transcription would be impossible. With this exception, the transcriptions below are complete up to 1925 for baptisms, 1950 for marriages, and 1992 for burials.

See bottom of page for copyright information and acknowledgments.
