THE BRADSHAW FAMILY

Ernest Bradshaw married Sarah Ann Hemstock at Stanley church in 1907. They had three children - Miriam (born 1909), Eric (1915) and Gwen (1922). At this time Ernest was a miner, but by the 1930s he was farming at Church Farm in Stanley.
Ernest's daughter Gwen married Charles Clifton, and his daughter Miriam married her cousin Dennis Bradshaw. His son Eric married Violet Perkins. All of these people are featured in the photographs below.
