INDEX TO SITE

This section contains the fruits of 20 years (on and off) of research into my ancestry. This project has had three aims:

1. To discover the names of my direct ancestors, and other details about them.

2. To find out about their brothers and sisters.

3. To trace the descendants of those brothers and sisters, as far as was possible.

I currently have a list of just over 100 direct ancestors, plus there are over 400 other relatives named on this site. About 75% of them are from Derbyshire, with the rest in neighbouring counties such as Lincoln, Notts and Warwickshire. Please feel free to explore the site - I am hoping that with so many interlinked families listed here that one or two visitors will find that their own relatives are included.

IMPORTANT NOTE (March 2005): Due to other family history commitments (eg. the Stanley One Place Study) I do not have the time to continually update this section of my website.
