| Eliza Dexter nee Stevens (born 1874) holding her daughter Annie Mary at her christening in 1897. Eliza's son Samuel is standing in front of her and her mother Jane Stevens (1845 - 1920) is on the right of the photo. The identity of the other two people is unknown. About 2 years after this photo was taken Eliza disappeared and a family story says she left to join the music hall. No trace of her has been found. |
