STARBUCK FAMILY

John & Elizabeth Starbuck are listed as the proprietors of the Bridge Inn on the 1891 and 1901 censuses. They had two daughters, and the 1901 census lists the family, together with Samuel Frost (husband of their eldest daughter Annie) and their three young grandchildren. I believe that this is the family shown in the photograph below, with John & Elizabeth at the back, Samuel Frost front left, Annie with the baby on her knee, and her younger sister Ada on the right. The three children would be Olga (centre), Norman (who founded the Felix bus company) next to his father, and Dora on Annie's knee. The apparent ages of the children suggest a date of 1901 for the photograph.
