The Parish of Kilbride
The parish of Kilbride is bounded by the parish of Donegore to the west, with the parishes of Rashee and Grange of Doagh to the east. The earliest registers for Kilbride Church of Ireland were destroyed in a fire in Dublin in 1922. However, vestry minutes survive for 1818 to 1871. The Presbyterians of the parish came together as a church in 1848, when the Rev. William Orr was ordained minister of the Congregation. Nathaniel Millikin in Holestone was one of the original founder members having previously been a member of First Donegore.
