Census of County Londonderry 1831

The 1831 Census of County Londonderry was organised by townland, civil parish, barony and county, and also included the name of the head of household, and age, occupation and religion of the occupants. Very little of the census however has survived with most of the remaining fragments of 1922 destruction mainly relating to County Londonderry. Copies of the census are held at the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland under MIC/5A/6-9. The following is an index to the heads of household with some abstracts.
