November 26, 1728
At Dumfries, Sasine registered of this date in favour of William Lawrie merchant in Dumfries and Mary Mulligane his spouse, the said William in fee and the said Mary of half of a stone house and two quarters of a yard at the back thereof lying above the old Castle next to the new Church of Dumfries by virtue of a disposition granted to them by Jean and Janet White lawful daughters to the deceased John White mason in Dumfries dated twenty third of November, 1728. At Dumfries, Sasine registered of this date in favour of Mary Mulligane spouse to William Lawrie merchant in Dumfries daughter to umquhile Robert Mulligane merchant, of All and Haill the half and equal half of a house lying above the old Castle of Dumfries and two quarters of yard adjacent to the back by virtue of a disposition granted to her by umquhile Barbara Nicoll relict of Thomas Tait carpenter there dated eight of June, 1719. At Dumfries, Sasine registered of this date in favour of Robert Milligane in Merkland son and heir to the deceased Andrew Milligane in Howyard of Lochrutton of All and Haill of a tenement of houses on the north of the old Castle of Dumfries now the east of the Church. At Dumfries, Sasine registered of this date in favour of Robert Edgar writer in Dumfries, of All and Haill a tenement of houses and yard on the north of the castle of Dumfries now on the east of the new Church, by virtue of a disposition granted to him by Robert Milligane in Merkland dated eleventh of June, 1729. At Dumfries, Sasine registered of this date in favour of John Milligan residenter in the burgh of Dumfries, late merchant traveller in England, in All and Haill of a tenement of houses with the yard and pertinents there unto belonging lying in the said burgh of Dumfries in that part called Southergate by virtue of a disposition granted to him thereof by Robert McBriar merchant in the said burgh dated the ninth of January, 1732. At Dumfries, Sasine registered of this date in favour of James Milligane late in Craigs now in Burntscarth and Mary Gracie his spouse in conjunct fee and life rent and the said James in fee of a house and portion of yard in Kirkgate of Dumfries possessed and bounded as therein presented upon in absolute disposition thereof granted by James Dickson writer in Dumfries and was present by Thomas Wright apprentice to Joseph Corrie, town clerk of Dumfries. At Dumfries. Sasine of this date in favour of Mrs. Marion Clerk widow of the late David Milligan of Dalscairth absolutely and irredeemably in All and Whole the subject laying at the Townhead of Dumfries on the right hand side of the High Street winding from the New Church to the Townhead part bounded as therein mentioned. Proceeding on a disposition dated the twenty first of April last executed by William Copeland of Colliston in favour of the said Mrs. Milligan was presented by William Atchison writer in Dumfries. November 6, 1798
At Dumfries. Sasine of this date in favour of Mrs. Marion Clerk relict of the late David Milligan of Dalscarith absolutely and irredeemably in All and Whole the just and equal half of the two lodgings above the three shops purchased by Patterson and Moore and John Swan and the back house possessed by James Kerr situated in the west side of the High Street in that part called the Plaunton with �garrel cellar� and privileges bounded as therein mentioned. Proceeding on a disposition executed by Messers Johnston, Lowden, Thorbun, Primrose and Therlie Trustees of Adam and James Thomson in Dumfries and their creditors in favour of Robert Therlie writer in Dumfries dated eighteenth day of May 1796 and a disposition and assignation dated twenty third of October last executed by the said Robert Therlie in favour of the said Mrs. Milligan was presented by William Atchison writer in Dumfries and signed by him.

November 6, 1798
At Dumfries. Sasine registered of this date in favour of Mrs. Marion Clerk relict of the late David Milligan of Dalscairth absolutely and irredeemably in All and Whole of a dwelling house of two stories down the close commonly called Thomson Close entering from the west side of the High Street of Dumfries in that part called the Plaunton with the two coal houses �peel left� (?) and privileges and pertinent bounded as therein mentioned. Proceeding on a disposition dated eighteenth of May 1796 executred by Messers Johnston, Lowden, Thorburn Primrose and Thertie Trustees of Adam and James Thomson in Dumfries and their creditors in favour of Robert Thertie writer in Dumfries, also, in All and Whole the just and equal half of the dwelling house immediately behind the shop possessed by Baily Wilson situated as a foresaid and with the office house in the Close garden and half of the stable and pertients and privileges therein, described, bounded as therein mentioned. Proceeding on the aforesaid disposition, and a disposition and assignation dated twenty third of October last executed by the said Robert Thertie in favour of the said Mrs. Milligan was presented by William Atchison writer in Dumfries and signed by him.

November 19, 1799
At Dumfries. Sasine registered of this date in favour of Mrs. Marion Clerk alias Milligan of Dalscairth, absolutely and irredeemably in All and Whole the just and equal half of that tenement and shop lane with the yard barn and stables excepting always the shops possessed by Wm Waugh, Paterson and Moor being the ground stories to the front only lying on the west side of the High Street of Dumfries bounded as therein mentioned. Proceeding on a disposition dated the twenty sixth day and thirtieth of April last executed by David Ferguson in Priestside and David Dickson minister of Mouswald in favour of Wm Thomson writer in Dumfries and dispone by him to the said Mrs. Milligan dated ninth of May last was presented by William Atchison, writer in Dumfries. Signed by Wm Atchison.

February 12, 1800
At Dumfries. Sasine of this date registered in favour of Mrs. Marion Milligan in All and Whole the seven roods of land being part of four acres of land lying within the territory of the burgh of Dumfries in that part called Trazehole. Also, in All and Whole the seven roods of land or thereabouts lying within the territory of the said burgh. Also, All and Whole that acre of land or thereby lying with the burgh of Dumfries in the part called Bukescross (?). Also, All and Whole that half acre of land or thereby lying within the territory of the said burgh, which parcel of land lie contiguous to one another and are now comprehended under the name of Nithbank and contain five acres or thereby and on which there are now build two dwelling houses, a stable, barn and byre as therein mentioned in the security to her of four hundred and fifteen pounds with interest and penalty. Proceeding on a Bond and Disposition under reversion dated 20th January last granted in her favour by Robert Milligan late in Hightown of Craigs now of Nithbank redeemably as therein mentioned as presented by Robert Locke writer in Dumfries. Sasine dated second of July last in favour of Janet McBriar spouse of Thomas Dickson farmer in Hightown and Margaret McBriar spouse of James Wightman in Milnburn absolutely and irredeemably in All and Whole a barn lying without the Kirkgate part of Dumfries bounded as therein mentioned. Proceeding on a disposition in their favour dated twenty fifth June last executed by Robert Milligan in Nithbank, was presented by Robert Fraser apprentice to the town clerk of Dumfries.
