From left are (1) George's son Robert (b. 1869); (2) Robert's wife Nettie ALLEN; (3) George, seated; (4) Robbie DEMPSEY, a child whom George and his wife raised; (5) Derussa May WINSTED (Mrs. Commodore Perry Hufford); (6) George's wife Mary OWENS (seated); and (7) George's son Commodore Perry Hufford (b. 1872). There is a poster for President McKinley behind the family, attached to the house. When was the photo taken? President McKinley was elected in 1896.
