Current research interest is that this shows father, Zachariah "Endemon" Mauk (we now have a full middle name) as age 25 in 1897, providing an approximate birth date for Zachariah of 1872. This fits well with the present assumption of this Zachariah as the son of John and Mildred Nichols Mauk, grandson of George and Elizabeth Shipley Mauk. |
