By 1850 our McCoy family is well established in Campbell County, boasting a large household, and many strong sons. Eldest daughter Milley has already wed and resides with her new family in nearby Campbell County. The family is surrounded by many of the families that have reared the sons and daughters that will marry into the McCoy family, the Hurts, Keiths, Gibsons, and by the families of Nancy"s many Hatfield aunts and uncles. Life is good, plentiful food and a steadfast faith in the Lord hold our McCoy ancestors through thier daily trials.
