My great great grandmother was Effie MacKinnon who was married to Donald Morrison. They lived in Cape North, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
FIRST GENERATION
Pioneer Malcolm MacKinnon married Kirsty MacDonald. Malcolm was born circa.1871 in Harris Scotland. He was the son of Donald B�n MacKinnon. Children: William, Norman, Donald, John, Effie and Christina.
William had two sons. John and Norman.
John had two sons and four daughters. Neil, Kenneth, Christina, Ann, Sara and Effie.
Norman married Rachel Campbell. Children: John, Christina, Francis, Malcolm, Donald, Kenneth and Murdoch.
Donald had two sons and a daughter by his first wife, a daughter of pioneer John MacLean. Donald, Kenneth and Sara.
Effie married Donald Morrison. Children: John, Christina, Kate, Malcolm, Roderick, Mary, Isabel, Angus, Peggie, Kenneth, Norman and Effie.
Christina married Alexander, son of pioneer John MacLeod. Children: Kenneth, John, Lexie, Kate, Christina, Rachel, Effie, Grace and Hannah.
SECOND GENERATION
John, son of William married Christina MacLeod, daughter of John MacLeod. Children: Neil, William, Malcolm, John D., Kenneth and Dan.
Norman, son of William had a daughter Maggie Ann who married Kenneth MacLeod. Children: Christina, Norman, Willena, Clarke and John Neil.
Christie, daughter of Norman and Rachel, married Kenneth MacPherson, son of Alex MacPherson. They had two sons, John and Donald.
Francis, son of Norman and Rachel, married Jessie MacLeod, daughter of pioneer John MacLeod. Children: Grace, Dollena, Mary, Norman D., John N., Dan J. and Rachel.
Malcolm, son of Norman and Rachel, married Isabel MacLeod. A second marriage to Ann MacLennan. Malcolm and Ann had a daughter Rachel.
Sara, daughter of Donald (Malcolm), married James Timmoms. Childen: Donald, David, Annie and Jane.
Donald, son of Donald (Malcolm) died unmarried.
Neil, son of John (Malcolm) married Kate MacLeod, daughter of Angus MacLeod. Children: Sara, John D., Angus N., Annie Effie, Christine, Flora Kate, Daniel, John and Neil.
Kenneth, son of John (Malcolm) married Rachel MacDonald, daugher of Ronald MacDonald. Children: John, Mary Ann, Kenneth and Marcella.
Christina, daughter of John (Malcolm) married Malcolm MacAskill, son of Neil MacAskill. Children: Christy, Sara and Flora.
Sara, daughter of John (Malcolm) married Mr. Sergeant.
THIRD GENERATION
Malcolm, son of John (William, Malcolm) married Rachel Morrison.
Mary, daughter of Francis (Norman, Malcolm) married Neil Morrison.
Norman D., son of Francis (Norman, Malcolm) had two children, Estelle D. and Jessie.
John N., son of Francis (Norman, Malcolm) had two children, Edith M. and Jessie G.
Rachel, daughter of Francis (Norman, Malcolm) married Duncan Campbell.
John D., son of Neil (John, Malcolm) married Ellen Ayers. Children: Neil, Thomas, John and Donald.
Angus N., son of Neil (John, Malcolm) married Margaret May Campbell, daughter of Donald Campbell. Children: Marcella, Neil, and Charlie.
Annie Effie, daughter of Neil (John, Malcolm) married John M. Bryan. Children: Ruth Margaret, Isabel Catherine, Martha Grace, John Neil and Constance.
Flora Kate, daughter of Neil (John, Malcolm) married Allan Peter Campbell. Children: Neil Donald, Catherine Grace and Lauraine.
Kenneth, son of John(William, Malcolm) married Rachel MacDonald. Children: John, Mary Ann, Kenneth, Marcella.
