John Wesley "Devil John" Wright (aka "Bad John" Wright) was
born 17 May 1844 in Letcher Co, Ky and died 30 June 1931 in Pound,
Wise Co Va, at 87 years of age. John married (1st) Alice Lee
Harman. (NOTE: Numbering John's wives does not denote order of
marriages). Alice Lee Harmon was born 4 March 1818. Alice was the
daughter of Robert Graham Harman and Isabelle Waddill Wadell.

12 March 1835 in Cynthiana, KY and died 12 March 1924 in Jenkins,
KY at 89 years of age. Martha was the daughter of Jamisson
Humphrey. Martha is buried in Wyatt Cemetery, Wyatt, KY.

(3rd) Ellen Sanders on 8 September 1924 in Water Gap, KY. Ellen
was born 28 March 1863 in Pike Co., KY and died 10 March 1948 in
Wise Co., VA at 84 years of age. She was the daughter of Levi
Sanders and Matilda Austin (Matilda Austin was the daughter of
Jesse and Margaret Austin). Ellen is buried in the John Wright
Cemetery, Horse Gap, Pound, Wise Co., VA.
