Albert married Harriet Swift on 30 March 1897 at the Parish Church of Brampton Bierlow, in the County of York by Banns. He was aged 27 and a miner of Swinton. His father was also a miner. Harriet was aged 29 and of West Melton. Her father was William Swift, a blacksmith. Witnesses were William Swift and Alice Ardron [his sister]. 3) George Ardron VII (1901 -)
My 2nd cousin 3 times removed was born on 14 March 1901 in Greasbrough. (Based on age + location on 1901 Census + GRO ref Rotherham 9c 781 Jun 1901 + Sheffield Archives – Parish Baptisms, pg 75)

George was then baptised on 23 June 1901. His parents were Albert, a miner, and Harriet Ardron, living at the Steel Furnace(?). (Sheffield Archives – Parish Baptisms, pg 75)

George emigrated to Australia. (Andy Nuttall) This was on 29 September 1925, departing on the Baradine, a ship of the P&O Australia via the Cape Service, travelling from London to Melbourne, Victoria. My 2nd cousin 3 times removed was born on 10 April 1903. (Andy Nuttall + GRO ref Rotherham 9c 825 Jun 1903 + dob on 1939 Register)

Margaret was baptised on 12 July 1903 at Greasbrough. Her parents were Albert, a publican, and Harriet Ardron. (Sheffield Archives – Yorkshire Baptisms – ref ??, pg 91) The register also shows her being born on 10 April.

Margaret Ardron married William Small on 22 June 1925 at Greasbrough. She was aged 22 and of the Prince of Wales Hotel. He was aged 26 and of 9 Mangham Road. Their fathers were Albert Ardron (deceased), a licensed victualler, and John Small (deceased), a roller.
