My 2nd cousin 3 times removed was born on 10 December 1915 in the registration district of Rotherham. (Jane Kelly (nee Ardron) + GRO ref Rotherham 9c 1454 Mar 1916 - Hirst) This is one day different to the date of birth shown on the GRO death index which shows 9 December of the same year.

Jennifer married Joseph Brian Farnell on 10 September 1963 in the registration district of Sheffield. (Jane Kelly (nee Ardron) + GRO ref Sheffield 2D 650 Sep 1963 - Farnell)

She died in 2000. (Jane Kelly (nee Ardron)) GRO REF?? - none found on GRO index

My 3rd cousin twice removed was born on xx xx 1950 at The Croft, Rackford Lane, Anston, R.D. Her father Edwin Ardron was a commercial traveller (flour) and her mother was Lucy Ardron (formerly Wilson). The informant was E. Ardron of The Croft, Rackford Lane, Anston. (GRO cert DF653664 + GRO ref Rother V. 2c 904 Jun 1950 - Wilson)

 

Jane married Graham Charles M. Kelly on xx xx 1972 in the Parish Church of the parish of St James, Woodhouse, Sheffield. Jane was aged 22, a spinster and a teacher. She was resident at 2 Coalbrook Grove, Woodhouse Mill. Her father was Edwin Ardron, a grocer. Graham was aged 25, a bachelor and also a teacher. He was resident at 10 Princess Street, Chesterfield. His father was Hugh Kelly, a manager. The witnesses were the two fathers. Interestingly the officiating minister was the Bishop's Chaplain for Social Responsibility. (GRO cert D959982 + GRO ref Sheffield 2D 111 Sep 1972 - Kelly (but note that it is shown as Ardon on the GRO marriage index)

In 2001 she completed a Master of Arts degree at Oxford Brooks University on the History of British Art. (Jane Kelly (nee Ardron))
