Frank married May Phillips on 25 May 1926 at the Congregational Church, Kimberworth Road, Rotherham by certificate. He was aged 23, a bachelor and a motor driver of 27 Church Street, Swinton. His father was a miner. May was aged 20, a spinster of 309 Wortley Road, Masboro(?), Rotherham. Her father was Ralph Phillips, an electrician.
