My Great Grandfather Horace Ardron II lived at number 188.

photo I took in 1996. As can be seen the houses on the right are
left of the lane belonged to Sandhill Farm, which was tenanted by my Great the same as those in the earlier
picture. The extent of the housing estate on
Grandmother’s family, the Dutchman’s. Today the houses shown still exist but what used to be field’s belonging to
Sandhill Farm can be seen on the left.
