My 1st cousin 5 times removed was baptised on 18 April 1824 in Laughton En Le Morthen. His parents were Paul Ardron, a blacksmith, and Elizabeth of Brookhouse. (APR + IGI + Genuki - The Parish Baptism Registers for Laughton en le Morthen, 1820 -1829)

On the 1841 Census (6 June) Robert was aged 15, an apprentice [blacksmith?], living with his parents at Brookhouse, Laughton En Le Morthen. (PRO ref HO107/1332/1/4/25/11/10) - shown as ANDRON on Ancestry.co.uk index

Robert married Eliza Beech at Sheffield Parish Church on 17 May 1847. He was a blacksmith, aged 23 years, and Eliza was aged 24. Paul was of Pinstone Street. His father was also a blacksmith. Her father was Samuel Beech, a farmer. (GRO cert Dean Ardron + GRO ref Sheffield 22 487 Jun 1847)

He died aged 26 and was buried on 5 November 1850 in Laughton En Le Morthen. (APR) This agrees with a GRO index entry. (GRO ref Rotherham 22 357 Dec 1850)

Eliza BEECH (1823 -)
She was born in 1823, daughter of Samuel Beech, a farmer. (Based on age + details at marriage)

1851 CENSUS?? – AGED 27? – now a widow

After the death of Robert, Eliza went on to marry George Bennett on 15 December 1856 in Anston, Laughton En Le Morthen. She was a widow and an innkeeper. He was a butcher. (APR) This agrees with a GRO index entry. (GRO ref Rotherham 9c 570 Dec 1856)
