My G-G-Great Uncle was baptised on 26 September 1852 in Swinton. His father was James Ardron, a miner of Kilnhurst and his mother was Martha. (APR) This agrees with a GRO index entry. (GRO ref Rotherham 9c 565 Sep 1852 - very blurry) (Photo - Swinton Parish Church)

On the 1861 Census (7 April) he was listed as a scholar aged 8 with his parents at Albany Row, Albany, Swinton. (PRO ref RG9 piece 3511 folio 57 pg 1)

On the 1871 Census (2 April) he was listed as a scholar aged 18 with his parents at 82 Meadow Works, Rawmarsh. (PRO ref RG10 piece 4709 folio 27-28 pg 20-21)

William Henry married Maria Peace at the Parish Church of Rotherham after Banns on 25 December 1871. He was a bachelor and a miner, aged 20. His father, James Ardron, was also a miner. Maria was a spinster, aged 21 and her father was William Peace, a miner. Both William and Maria were of Rotherham. Witnesses were Joseph Shaw and Harriet Ann ?(unable to read). Maria PEACE (1851 -)
She was born circa 1851 in Coleville (LEIC), the daughter of William Peace, a miner, and Hannah. (Based on age + location at 1881 Census + mother on 1891 Census)

Did Edith die in 1883 aged 7? (GRO ref Rotherham 9c 352 Sep 1883 - [aged] 7) Based on being aged 7 at death she would have been born in 1876. This would agree with her not being on the 1891/1901 census.

Harry died on 8 June 1895 aged 17 at  7 Chapel Street, Rawmarsh. The witness was his father. (GRO cert DYA011558 + GRO ref Rotherham 9c 380 Jun 1895 - [aged] 17) 

He was buried on 10 June 1895 at St Mary's Rawmarsh. He was aged 17 and of 7 Chapel Street. (APR)
