24. Isaac³ Skillings (Benjamin², Thomas¹) (#4164) was born in Greenland, Rockingham, NH c1713.⁽¹⁸⁶⁾ Wm Sargent says b 1690

He married Mary Brackett. (Mary Brackett is #4165.) Mary was born c1691 in ME.⁽¹⁸⁷⁾

Isaac served in the military in ME, Apr 1744.⁽¹⁸⁸⁾

Abstract from The Skillings Family by W.M. Sargent, p 8:

"The above Benjamin being then in his 78th year, conveys to his son Isaac all his farm or homestead at Back Cove." - Cumberland Reg. 9-116, Dec 6, 1742. From this it is reasonable to infer that he (Isaac) was an only child. Isaac was admitted an inhabitant in 1728, without payment of the L10, showing he was a son of an old settler. He enlisted in April 1744, in the Snoe Shoe Company under Capt. Dominicus Jordan."

Isaac Skillings and Mary Brackett had the following children:

80 i. Mary⁴ Skillings (#4187) was born c1758.⁽¹⁸⁹⁾ She married William Moulton.⁽¹⁹⁰⁾ (William Moulton is #4192.)

81 ii. Eleanor Skillings (#4189) was born in Falmouth, Cumberland, ME c1762.⁽¹⁹¹⁾ Eleanor died 3 May 1846 in Cumberland, Cumberland, ME, at 83 years of age.⁽¹⁹²⁾ She married William Cleves c1782.⁽¹⁹³⁾ (William Cleves is #4190.) William was the son of Robert Cleves (Cleaves) and Sarah Harding. William is deceased.⁽¹⁹⁴⁾ Bradbury says "died in the army"
