On May 17, 1748 he purchased 100 acres of land on the Little Byrd Creek from Henry and Mary Parish, of St. Jeams Parish in Goochland Co for 7 pounds and 10 shillings. On August 21, 1750, William Arnold Sr. (still residing in Louisa Co., Parish of Fredericksville) sells that same property to a Robert Roe (also of Louisa Co., Parish of Fredericksville) for 10 pounds.
