The album back has a light and dark purple pattern of a velvety type material which is discolored around the edges. The binding is somewhat loose and is completely pulled away in one spot at the center pages. Otherwise, this album is in pretty good condition for its age. Handwritten on the first right inside page, "This album and everything in it belongs to Harold Sponsler when we are through with it - Signed by, Walter C. Sponsler [and] Fern Sponsler."
