These are the bible records of the Morrell family of Cocke Co. Tennessee. Mariah Morrell married David Paxton Click in Cocke Co and their marriage is listed in these bible records. They were published in the Newport Plain Talk Newspaper. I split the image into two sections for better reading.
These are the bible records submitted by James Michael Click of California, whose grandmother Gracie Click has them in her possession. James 2nd great grandparents were Zachariah Click (who's ancestory we still are working on) and Zack's wife Mary Catherine Weaver. Mary Catherine Weaver was the daughter of Frederick Weaver and Rutha T. Click of Cocke Co. Tennessee. These wonderful bible records give us the birth dates of Frederick Weaver and Rutha T. Click. Rutha T. Click was the daughter of Lewis Anderson Click and Rachel Paxton. Rutha is to date, the eldest daughter of Lewis and Rachel that we are able to document. Rutha T. Click was married three times. 1st) Frederick Weaver in Cocke Co. Tenn 2) Nelson Hobaugh in Benton Co. Arkansas 3)Richard H. Hanney in Cleveland Co. Oklahoma.
