Tom Click of Cloudy, Oklahoma was shot and killed during a dispute. We don't have a date of his story and as yet have not identified what Click family he belonged to yet. If you can help identify him, please contact me. This obit was among the other obits of James Michael Click's grandmother.

HUSBAND KILLS WIFES ASSAILANT

Second Gunplay at Cloudy - Twenty Five Miles East of Antlers - Both the Injured Will Die

Antlers, Okla - Two double tragedies in which two persons were killed and two fatally injured, occurred in the vicinity of Antlers. The dead are Postmaster, C. B. Taylor of Farris, a village in Atoka County about fifteen miles west of Antlers, and Tom Click, a resident of Cloudy, a small town twenty-five miles east of Antlers.

The fatally injured are Constable Stevens of Farris and Mrs. M. Clark of Cloudy.

At Farris, Postmaster Taylor and Constable Stevens engaged in a duel, the constable being the better shot and killing the federal official, while Stevens received a shot in the side. Physicians have no hope for his recovery.

About two years ago Taylor was attacked near his home by two men who beat him up so severely that he was confined to a bed for three months. Taylor accused Stevens, at the time a deputy sheriff in Atoka County, of being one of the two men. The two met Monday morning, each wearing revolvers and the duel resulted.

Each fired just one shot, Taylor being hit in the right side and Stevens in the left side. Taylor died at noon.

Bad blood existing between neighbors, caused Tom Click to shoot Mrs. Clark in the breast at Cloudy, twenty five miles east of here. Mr. Clark, the husband, then procured a shotgun and killed Click. Clark is at home waiting for the sheriff to arrest him. Mrs. Clark will die.

Please be patient as I build this site. Thank you.
