The Hermon Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery is located on the corner of Hwy 107 cutoff & Middle Creek Road. The history of the church goes back as far as the first circuit rider, Jeremiah Lambert after his appointment in 1783. The first land was deeded by Washington Henshaw to the trustees and the first church known as "Henshaw's Church" was built. The deed dated 21 April 1821 by Washington Henshaw to Daniel Creamer, John Kerr, William Kerr, Samuel Wilhoit, & Martin Click, Trustees in Trust for the uses and purposes herein after mentioned....which amounted to one and one-half acres of land. The older cemetery also was started where many of the original members were laid to rest.

The land for the newer section of the cemetery was sold for $50 to the church consisting of one acre of land by James R. Click & Greene Click, who were brothers and sons of John Click & Mary Ann Morris. They were grandson's of Martin Click, Sr & his first wife Mary Ann Borders. The deed dated 26 Dec 1888 specified it was bounded as follows: on the East by lands of JOSEPH WHITE, decd, on the South by the lot of Hermon M.E. Church, on the West and North by the other lands of Click.
