MOUNT Genealogy
For many years, Brent Mount has been collecting family histories from many MOUNT researchers. In 1989, he printed this information in a book entitled MOUNT.
I have taken this information, with Brent's permission, and compiled an index of surnames. All married females will be listed twice, once under their maiden name and again under their married name with their maiden name in brackets. If the year of birth and/or death for anyone was supplied to Brent, you will see one or both dates in parenthesis after the person's name.
In the "Surname Index sorted by County/State", the listing is in accordance with how the book is arranged; by the County/State of migration.
The "Surname Index sorted by State/County" is for lookup if the researcher only knows the state and not the county of migration.
In the Master list, after the person's dates and possibly maiden name, you will see the chapter of Brent's book where you can find more information. The book will not be reproduced here, but if you wish more information, please contact Brent or myself.
