George BECHTOLT, 67-year-old Wickenburg business man, died of a heart attack at his home Friday. A former advertising director for the Cincinnati Inquirer, Bechtolt had been in semiretirement for several years. Since 1951, he and his wife had operated a fashionable apparel shop in Wickenburg. The son of a minister, he was born in Litchfield, Nebraska, and lived his early years in Nebraska and Wisconsin. In 1917, he joined the Phillip Carey Co., a Cincinnati building material firm, and worked his way up to a vice presidency in a few years. While in semiretirement, he was asked to take over the advertising department of the Inquirer. He was a Shriner and a 32nd degree Mason. Funeral services and burial will be in Cincinnati. CAMPBELL, Don E., Don Edward CAMPBELL, World War II veteran and resident of Arizona 22 years, died Thursday in the Phoenix Veterans Administration Hospital. He was 57. Mr. Campbell was a native of Randell County, Texas. He had been an accountant, both self-employed and for Luke Air Force Base. His home was at 340 W. Glendale Ave., Glendale. Survivors are two stepsons, Francis L. PATTERSON, Phoenix, and Kenneth W. PATTERSON, Fort Huachuca; two brothers and a sister, all out of state; and eight grandchildren. CHACON, Joe D., 52, Globe, 11 January 1960 CHAMBERS, Willis, 4 January 1960 CHESHIRE, Claude Clifton, 71, widely known Flagstaff business man and former mayor of Nogales, died Friday night while vacationing in Phoenix. He was 71. Mr. Cheshire suffered an apparent heart attack while dining with friends at a restaurant. He died 15 minutes later. Born in Oregon, Mr. Cheshire moved to Nogales and opened an automobile agency in 1924. He served as Nogales mayor from 1937 to 1939. Mr. Cheshire sold his agency to his brother, Roy, in 1940 and moved to Flagstaff. He operated an agency in Flagstaff and Williams until his death. He was active in civic affairs in both Nogales and Flagstaff. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
