MY DANISH LINES BY RICHARD HANSEN

IN SEARCH OF MY ANCESTORS ON ZEALAND

September 6, 2005, we traveled to the Island of Zealand, Denmark to walk in the footprints of grandfather NIELS HANSEN in hopes of finding his ancestry.  My grandfather Niels Hansen came from Zealand we rented a car to cover the fifty-eight miles from Copenhagen down to Karrebaek Parish where he lived and from there we drove to the other two parishes of Glumsø and Forsloev where Niels parents were born.

This genealogical journey has just begun as we will continue to look for more of my ancestors who came from Zealand.
