1764 Edward Owen Junior patented the 25-acre tract Elizabeth in what
is now Montgomery County.
In 1770 the tract Liberty, containing 21 acres, was patented
to Edward Owen.

ON
4 November 1769 Edward Owen Junior executed a deed, which stated
that Edward Owen "being legally possessed of part of Resurvey on
Friends Advice," was conveying 200 acres of the tract to Lawrence
Owen, for 100 pounds.
Ruth Owen, wife of Edward Owen Junior relinquished her doer

The
Subscriber having removed to that large and commodious Stone House,
in Frederick Town, opposite the Tavern kept by her late Husband,
Robert Owen; and has supplied her Tavern with the best Liquors, and
other necessaries for the genteel accommodation of Travelers; takes
this method of soliciting the encouragement of the Public in
general, and of the Customers of her late Husband's Tavern in
particular, under an assurance that no pains shall be wanting on her
part, to render her Tavern convenient and agreeable, and to deserve
a continuance of their favors.

Robert Owen, I hereby request all persons who have claims against
him, to bring them in properly proved that they may be settled; and
