More baptism, marriages & burials details for families in the Yorkshire area. Some are taken from local Newspaper Obituaries and some are from None-Conformist Registers so do not have full details, but I thought they might be useful to researchers.

Keighley & District Local History Society ...lots of useful info about Keighley's history together with an excellent forum page on family history.

Cowling Web ....again lots of local information about the village of Cowling, together with details about local birth, marriages & burial and also a useful section on school & sunday school admissions.

UK Census On Line ...I don't know how I have never seen this before. It's a free searchable database of census records from 1841 - 1891, albeit with lots of areas not listed. Useful to those who do not want to pay to view one of the other sites.

Your Yorkshire Bancroft Ancestor Details

This page has details of Suzanne Higgins's line who ancestors lived in the Cowling, Sutton & Thornton-in Craven areas, although the line originates with a Timothy Bancroft who came from Haworth. Suzanne would like to hear from anyone else who might be related to her through this line....can anyone help?
