No date on this picture. It might have been around 1900 and a picture of the children still left at home.
The first four are not in the picture which might mean they had already left home.
The very beautiful Dolby Sisters are featured here. All dressed in White, so what could the occassion have been? In the back is Orah Catherine and Allie Dolby. Sitting in the front is Jessie May Dolby. I don't know the year this picture was taken. There is just a hint of a smile on Allies face, while Orah looks very serious. Jessie has the look of being calm and secure.
NEW YEARS DAY 1903
Somebody told them to be very serious in this picture. In the Back is Allie Dolby Smith age 24 , Frankie Dolby Clay age 29, Orah Dolby age 22. In the Front Row is Jessie May Dolby age 17 and Emma Lillian Dolby Martin age 24. Orah never married at all and Jessie is still single in this picture.
George Calvin Dolby married Rosa Belle Woodring on
15 March 1899 in Meatcamp, Watanga NC. Belle came to live in Webster Co MO as a young bride. In the Front Row is George, Fred, Stacy and Bell. In the back row is Leland and Ucal.
