DeWaine D Dolby, 88, 725 Whitelock St., died Friday at Van Crest Health Care Center, Van Wert Ohio.

Mr. Dolby had worked in refrigeration maintenance at Sealtest in Huntington for 41 years. He wa a member of the Huntington Church of the Brethren.

He was born on No 18 1908 in Huntington Township, to Francis Earl adn Chloe Hoke Dolby. On Sep 14 1930 in South Bend, he married Mary Chalmers. She died on Nov 4 1983.

Survivors include two sons, Rex Dolby, Van Vert and Jerry Dolby, Bayfield Colo; eight grandchildren adn 3 great grandchildren.

Calling is from 4-9 pm Wednesday at the Deal Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel where services will be held at ....

Mary A Dolby, 75, 725 Whitelock St., died at 7:04 pm Friday (Nov 4 1983) at Huntington Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Dolby was alifelong resident of Huntington and a member of the Huntington Church of the Brethren.

She was born Jan 5 1908 in Huntington to William and Stella Shoemaker Chalmers. Her marriage was Sept 14 1930 at South Bend to Dewaine Dolby who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Rex Dolby, Van Wert Ohio and Jerry Dolby, Hampden Maine; three sisters, Mrs Effie Welch, North Manchester, Ethel Chalmers, Huntington; Mrs. Velma Carlson, Flint Mich; two brothers, Noah Chalmers, Toledo Ohio; Burl Chalmers, San Diego Calif; and 8 grandchildren. A brother Wilbur Chalmers is deceaed.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 pm Sunday and Monday at the Deal & Robbins Funeral Home where services will be at 2 pm Tuesday with Rev. David L Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
