Donald Allen Dolby, 87, Rt 1, Roann, died of natural causes at 11:15 pm Friday (June 28 1991) at his home.

Mr. Dolby was a retired farmer and a truck driver for Dallas Mavis Forwarding Co., South Bend. He was a member of the Roann United Methodist Church, and was a lay leader for the church and a lay delegate to the United Methodist Annual Conference. He was also active in the Pleasant Township and Wabash County Farm Bureau.

He was born July 6 1903 to Isaac and Bertha Hoover Dolby. His marriage was Dec. 15, 1926 in Wabash County to Lydia C Dolby, who died June 29 1991.

Surviving are two sons, Leon M. Dolby, Fort Wayne, and Myron D Dolby, Fortville; two sisters, Ruby Wall, Huntington, and Opal Kindley, Andrews; a brother, Dean Dolby, Huntington; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Lydia C Dolby, 86, Rt. 1, Roann, died of natural causes as 12:44 am Saturday at her home.

Mrs Dolby was a homemaker and a member of the Roann United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, the Pleasant Township Farm Bureau, and the Stitch and Chatter Club.

She was born Aug. 18 1904 in Pleasant Township, Wabash County to Henry C and Sinona Taylor Rosenthal. Her marriage was Dec 15 1926 in Wabash County to Donald A Dolby who died June 27, 1991.

Surviving are two sons, Leon M Dolby, Fort Wayne; a sister Aurel Musselman, Rt 1, Macy; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be 4 to 8 pm Monday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Home, Roann. Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at Roann united Methodist Church with Dr. Robert W ?/ and Rev. Alex Stone officiating. Burial will be in Roann Community Cemetery. Preferred memorial are to be the Roann united Methodist Church of Wabash - Miami Home Health Care.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gwenneth E Dolby, 42, Fort Wayne, will be held at 10 am Friday in Waynedale United Methodist Church with Rev. Darrell Taggert officiating. Burial will be in the I00F Cemetery, Roann.

Mrs. Dolby is the daughter-in-law of Mr and Mrs Donald Dolby, of Roann and former residents of Huntington County.

Mrs. Dolby was dead on arrival at 9:55 pm Tuesday at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was a native of Gilead and was a member of the Waynedale Church, the Order of Eastern Star and Home Economic Club.

Surviving besides her husband Leon, a teacher at South Side High School, are two daughters Linda K and Debbie, both at home, two brothers Cletus Kotterman, Kokomo ane Larry Kotterman, Deedsville.

Friends may call at the Elzey Home for Funerals, Waynedale, from 1 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm Thursday, and at the church from 9 am Friday until service time.

Preferred memorials are gifts to the memorial fund of Waynesdale Church. Eastern Star services will be at 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home

Myron Devere Dolby, 67, Fortville, died July 26 2002.

He had been a glass machine maintenance worker 34 years for Owens-Brockway, retiring in 2000. An Army veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 21, Eagles Club 4323 and Glass Workers Union Local 207. He was a graduate of Purdue University. Services: 10 a.m. July 31 in Fortville United Methodist Church, of which he was a member, with calling there from 9 a.m.

Additional calling: 2 to 8 p.m. July 30 in Hughes Funeral Home, Fortville. Burial: Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville. Survivors: wife Ruth Ellen Noel Dolby; daughters Rebecca Lauterbach, Sharon Rose Dolby Grayton; brother Leon Dolby; a grandchild. July 28, 2002 Indianpolis Star
