Donald Ray Armstrong,43, Clarkesville (Habersham Co., Georgia), died Tuesday Jul 23 1985.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Gove, Cornelia; one brother, Larry Armstrong, Davenport; one sister, Christine Anderson, Wheeling, Ill.; four sons, William Armstrong, Fort Sill, Okla.; Edward, Brian and Donald Ray Armstrong, all of Tampa, Fla,; three daughters, Mrs. Victoria Barr, Theresa and Jennifer Armstrong, all of Tampa, Fla.; Miss Cleo Wooten, Clarkesville.
Funeral at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Church and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Cantrell will officiate. Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Don was my younger brother. His life ended far too soon and very tragically. He was killed when a farm tractor turned over on him, and we are told that he died instantly. He was not quite 44 years old. He left behind 8 children, two ex-wives and one wife to be.
Don was first married to Elizabeth "Betty" Kohnke in June of 1960 in Chicago, Cook Co. IL. He later married Anne Northrup, 14 August 1977 in Tampa, Hillsborough Co. FL. He was engaged to be married to Cleo "Trixie" Wooten when he died.
