George Paul Dolby,85, Scottsdale, Ariz., died at 11:30 am Saturday (Dec 14 1996)

Mr Dolby lived in Huntington until moving to Arizona in 1986. He was a graduate of Lancaster High School and Indiana University. He was employed by Huntington Laboratories as a chief chemist and plant manager for 47 years until his retirement. Mr. Dolby was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and St. Peter's UniteD Church of Christ and Shepherd of the Valley Church in Phoenix, Ariz.

Anna Louise Dolby,84, Scottsdale, Ariz., died at 7:15 am Thursday (Feb 6, 1997) in Scottsdale.

Mrs. Dolby was a former resident of Huntington, and was a member of St. Peter's First United Church of Christ, the order of the Eastern Star, and the Business and Professional Women's club in Huntington. She was an active member of the Democrat Party and served two terms as Huntington Township Assessor. She was a real estate agent with Larry Wells and Associates until retiring in 1978. She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Congregational Church, Phoenix, Ariz.

She was born Dec. 13 1913 in Jeanette PA to Harry and Louise Miller. She married George Paul Dolby in 1934; her husband died in December 1996. Survivors include a daughter, Robert Dolby Gavit, Tempe Ariz, three sisters, Ruth Miller Lang, Chicago, DorothyM iller Whitehurst, Indianapolis, and Mildred Miller Brown, Fort Wayne; two grandsons and four great-grandsons.

A memorial service for both Anna and George Dolby will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 22 at Scottsdale Village Square, Scottsdale, Ariz. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's First United Church of Christ.

George Paul Dolby was the son of Charles Franklin Dolby & Marjorie Gertrude Beghtel both of Huntington Co Indiana.
