Harold Roderick Dolby, 72, Rt. 6, died at 7:31 am Tuesday (Jan 5 1962) at Huntington Memorial Hospital.

A lifelong resident of Lancaster Township, Mr. Dolby was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. He was formerly employed at Caswell-Runyan, and was a retired decorator, and state driver examiner.

Mr. Dolby was born July 25, 1909 in Lancaster Township to Isaac and Bertha Hoover Dolby, and his marriage was on June 29, 1929 in Goblesville to the former E Louise Lewis, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Reba M Holley, Bluffton and Marcia Ann Dolby, Huntingto; a son Rex A Dolby, Huntington; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Dolby, Roann and Dean Dolby, Huntington and two sisters, Mrs Ruby Wall, Huntington and Mrs Opal Kindley, Mt Etna. Deceased are a great grandchild; two brothers and a sisters.

Louise Dolby 85, formerly of Lancaster Township, died at 2:03 pm Wednesday (Jan 17 1996) at Meadowvale Skilled Care Center, Bluffton.

Mrs Dolby was a 1928 graduate of Jefferson Center High School. She worked for Memcor-Truohm Inc., for 29 years before retiring in 1979. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

She was born Dec. 29 1910 in Grant County to Dallas and Hazel Bray Lewis. Her marriage was June 29 1929 in Huntington to Harrold R Dolby. He died Jan 5 1982.

She is survived by two daughter, Mrs. Roy (Melba) Holley, Bluffton, and Marcia Ann Dolby, Huntington; a son Rex A Dolby, North Manchester; a sister Georgia Pugh, Warren; a brother, Allen Lewis, Warren; four grandchildren and 4 great Grandchildren and 1 GG Granchild, three stepgreat-grandchildren and two step- GreatGreatGrandchildren.

Reba M Holley, Bluffton, died at 10:10 p.m. Monday at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Holley retired from the Caylor-Nickel Medical Center, Bluffton, where she was a licensed practical nurse. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She was born March 27, 1930, in Huntington to Harold R. and Ethel L. Lewis Dolby. She married Roy E. Holley May 11, 1948, in Muncie. Her husband survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Ronald G. Holley, Murray, and Gary L. Holley, Bluffton; a daughter, Mrs. Jeff (Sharon) Bennett, Saginaw, Mich.; a sister, Marcia Dolby, Huntington; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a grandson.

Calling is 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Thoma/Rich, Hewitt & Chaney Funeral Home, 308 W. Washington, Bluffton, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Russell Buzzard will officiate. Burial will be at the Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County. Rex A. Dolby, 56, North Webster, died at 10:12 p.m. Saturday (July 17, 1999) from injuries sustained in a traffic accident in rural Kosciusko County. Mr. Dolby was formerly of Huntington. He had been self-employed as a contractor working in Huntington and Kosciusko County. He was the captain of the Dixie Paddle Boat on Lake Webster. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and the North Webster American Legion, Herbert Kuhn Post 253. He graduated from Lancaster High School in 1960 and was a veteran of the Air Force. He was born Aug. 14, 1942 in Huntington to Harold and Ethel Lewis Dolby.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Reba) M. Holley, Bluffton, and Marcia Ann Dolby, Huntington. Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. Pastor Russell Buzzard will officiate at the service. Burial will be at the Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County. Preferred memorials are to the Rex Dolby Family, c/o Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, IN 46750.
