Isaac Coleman Dolby, retired farmer living in Lancaster Township on Huntington Route six all his life, died at 2:15 am Sunday. He had been in failing health the last 20 years, bedfast since September 23, 1958, and seriously ill the last two weeks. Mr. Dolby was born January 5, 1883, in Lancaster Township to Christian L and Mary E Stewart Dolby. His marriage was to Bertha Hoover, April 18 1901. Surviving are the widow, five sons, Howard, Harold and Dean of Lancaster Township, Donald of near Roann, and Meredith of Huntington; three daughters, Mrs. Adam (Ruby) Wall, Huntington and Mrs. Earl (Lelah), Watson and Mrs. Harold (Opal) Kindley, both of Andrews route one; 27 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Flora Oden, Huntington Township. Two grandsons died in infancy, and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Myers and Mrs. Jennie Favoriate and a brother, Otha A Dolby also are dead.

Bertha Dolby, 88, Rt 6 died at 11:40 pm Friday. She had been ill since May 7 when she fell at her home. She was born April 18, 1883 in Lancaster Township to David and Lydia Ann Souers Hoover. Her marriage was to Isaac C Dolby April 18, 1901 in Lancaster. Mr. Dolby died Oct 18 1959. She had lived the last 62 years at her present address. As a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church she was active in Church affairs and the Missionary Society. Surviving are five sons, Howard, Harold and Dean Dolby of Rt 6, Huntington, Donald of Roann and Meredith of Sarasota Fla; three daughters, Mrs Adam (Ruby) Wall of Huntington, Mrs. Earl (Lelah) Watson and Mrs Harold (Opal) Kindley of Rt 1 Andrews; 25 grandchildren, 52 Great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; and one brother, Melvin Hoover Rt 6 Huntington. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles and two sisters, Nora and Della Hoover.
