Retired Erie-Lackawanna Railroad engineer, LeRoy Dolby, 77, of Rt 2 Huntington, East Tipton Street extened, died at 7:55 pm Sunday in the Huntington County Hospital where he had been a patient since August 16. He had been in failing health several years and was seriously ill one week.

Mr. Dolby, who had lived the last 53 years at the rural home northeast of this city, was born January 21, 1886 to David and Rachel Chalmers Dolby of Huntington County, where he lived practically all his life. He married Louisa A Hacker June 18 1910 in Huntington. He retired in 1951 after 41 years of service with the railroad.

Mr. Dolby was a member of the First El'B Church this city, the B of I F and E. Senior Citizens, the Erie Veterans Association, and was a life member of the B of I E.

Surviving are the widow, three sons, Ralph E Dolby of Huntington; Eldon N Dolby of Toledo Ohio, and Bruce E Dolby of Columbus Ohio; two daughters, Mrs Lester (Cathryn) Stahl and Mrs. Robert (Opal) Milholland, both of Huntington.

Louisa A Dolby, 96, 1560N-Old State Road 9, died at 8:20 pm Saturday (Aug 24 1985) at Huntington Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Dolby was a lifelong resident of Huntington County. She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Erie-Lackawanna Veterans Association.

She was born March 23, 1889 in Huntington County to J Frank and Lizzie Couch Hacker. Her marriage was June 10 1910 to Leroy Dolby who died in 1963.

She is survived by three sons, Ralph E Dolby, Roanoke, Eldon N Dolby, Lambertsville Mich and Bruce A Dolby, Bellevue Wash; Two daughters Mrs. Lester (Cathryn) Stahl and Mrs. Opal M Milholland, both of Huntington; 13 Grandchildren, 28 Great grandchildren, 11 great great great grandchildren, one step great grandchild and two step GG Grancchildren.

Three brothers and a grandaughter are deceased. Arrangements pending at Deal & Robbins Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Vicki Linn Dolby,infant daughter of Bruce Albert and Jean Dolby, who died at birth at 2 am Tuesday at the Huntington County Hospital were held at 4 pm Tuesday with graveside services by the Rev. R Mackstroth and burial at Lancaster

Mrs. Marion Stalder Dolby, a former Huntington resident, died Thursday (Dec 16 1976) at her home in Toledo Ohio. She had been ill for stome time.

Mrs Dolby was a graduate of Huntington High School and had lived in Fort Wayne before moving to Toledo.

She was born in Huntington to Mr and Mrs Rudolph Stalder and her marriage was on March 4 1938 to Eldon Dolby.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan of near Chicago and Marsha, Bakersfield Calif; a brother Jack Stalder, New Orleans LA and a sister June, Davenport Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday at a funeral home near Toledo. Preferred memorial to cancer society.

Word has been received by Mrs. Louisa Dolby Rt 2 of the death of her daughter in law, Mrs. Eldon (Maria Stalder) Dolby, a former resident of Huntington, who died Thursday morning at her home in Toledo Ohio. She is survived by other relatives in Huntington. Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
