Ralph E Dolby, 86, died at 11:25 am Sunday (Sept 6 1998) at the Community Care Center, Huntington, where he was a resident.

Mr. Dolby had been an operator at E-Systems for 10 years, retiring in 1972. He graduated from Huntington Township High School in 1930.

He was born March 1, 1912, in Huntington to LeRoy and Louisa Hacker Dolby. He married Opal B Obenour in Columbia City on June 30, 1933. His wife died April 30, 1973.

Survivors include three sons, Paul Dean Dolby, Markle, Dennis E Dolby, Warsaw, and James E Dolby, Indianapolis; a daughter, Mrs John (Marjorie) Karst ,Indianapolis; seven grandchildren adn 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Eldon E Dolby, Lambertville Mich and Bruce Dolby, Bellingham, Wash; and a sister Cathryn Stahl, Bluffton.

Opal B Dolby, 58, 535 W. Tipton St., was dead on arrival at Huntington Memorial Hospital at 1:15 am Saturday. She had been ill the last five weeks.

She was born Oct 6 1914 in Lima OH to Joseph and Belva Lingo Obenour. On June 3 1933 she married Ralph E Dolby who survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Pauldene of Markle, James of Indianapolis and Dennis of Huntington; and a daughter, Mrs. John (Marjorie) Karst of Huntington and seven grandchildren.

Three brothers, Vaughn and Fred Obernour of Huntington and Robert Obenour of Toledo Ohio, also survive, as do six sisters, Mrs. Reva Sands, Mrs. Carl Short, Mrs Margaret Kneller, Mrs Wilma Jackson, Mrs Reuben Sellers and Eloise Obenour all of Huntington.

Friends may call at Bailey Mortuary where funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday in the chapel with Rev. Gary Colby officiating. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory.

Services for Carolyn Ann Dolby will be held Wednesday at the Hart Funeral Home.

Mrs Dolby, 51, 253 Wright St., died at 5:17 pm Saturday (Jan 24 1987) at Huntington Memorial Hospital.

She had been employed by Memcor for 25 1/2 years.

Mrs. Dolby was born Aug 3 1935, in Huntington, to Charles Ralph and Flossie Dale (Bonebrake) Randolph. Her first marriage was on Sept 27 1952 in Huntington to Gene R Beaver, who died Oct 5 1973. Her second marriage was on Jan 14 1977 in Roanoke to Pauldene (Paul Dean) Dolby who survives.

Additional survivors includes two sons, Charles Beaver, Redondo Beach Calif, and Scot Allen Beaver, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Tim (Penny Marie) Allen, Huntington; a stepdaughter, Mrs Paula Walters, Huntington; a sister, Mrs Charles (Margaret) Cowin, Huntington and two stepgrandchildren.

Two brothers, Harvey Jack Randolph and James E Randolph are deceased.

Amy Lynn (Bragg) Weidler, 43, Indianapolis, died at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 20, 1999) at the Winona Hospital, Indianapolis.

Mrs. Weidler was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a former Girl Scout troop leader in Galion, Ohio. She graduated from Huntington North High School in 1974 and attended St. Francis College in Fort Wayne.

She was born Oct. 15, 1955, in Huntington to Charles H. and Marjorie Dolby Bragg. She married Jim Weidler in Huntington on Nov. 24, 1984. Her husband survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Sarah Weidler, Indianapolis; her father and stepmother, Charles and Vivian Bragg, Huntington; her mother and stepfather, Marjorie and John Karst, Indianapolis; a brother, Ed Bragg, Etna Green; and a sister, Mrs. Rodney (Tina) Strayer, Albion.

Calling is from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary where funeral services will be held at noon Monday. Rev. Raymond Waldfogel will officiate at the service. Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to the American Heart Association in care of Lake City Bank, 1501 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.
