Ruby Alphretta Wall, 96, a former resident of 455 E. Park Dr., died at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Mrs. Wall was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, where she also belonged to the Women's Missionary Society. She was born March 14, 1905, in Lancaster Township, Huntington County, to Isaac C. and Bertha Hoover Dolby. She was a lifetime resident of Huntington County and a 1923 graduate of Lancaster High School. She married Adam M. Wall on April 28, 1926, in Marion. Her husband died Aug. 14, 1977.

Survivors include two sons, Harrold A. Wall, Huntington, and Doyle L. Wall, Lebanon, Ore.; a sister, Opal Kindley, Huntington; and 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard C. Wall; a daughter, Phyllis Jean Shepherd; five brothers, Howard Dolby, Harold Dolby, Meredith Dolby, Dean Dolby and Donald Dolby; a sister, Lelah Watson; and three grandsons.

Calling is 3-8 p.m. Friday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Russell Buzzard officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Adam M. Wall, 455 E. Park Dr., Huntington, died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday at Huntington Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Wall was a native of Huntington and had been a teacher for 46 years, all but the final two years in the Huntington and Whitley counties school systems. His last two years teaching were in the Coldwater, Mich., school system.

He was Principal of Lincoln Elementary School in Huntington for 17 years.

Mr. Wall was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Huntington, and served on the church's board of directors for several years. He was a member of the Huntington Teachers Association, Indiana State Teachers Association and National Education Association.

He received a certificate of merit from the Indiana Conservation Department for 16 years service as a state bee inspector.

Surviving are his wife, Ruby; two sons, Harold A., Warren Township, Huntington County, and Doyle L. Lebanon, Ore.; a daughter, Mrs. James (Phyllis) Shepherd, Marion; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Young, Rt. 3, North Manchester, 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Bailey Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr., Huntington. The Rev. Carlyle Seiple will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Huntington County.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Mortuary
