Samuel Dolby, a prosperous farmer, dropped dead in his barnyard while feeding his poultry. Heart disease was the cause. Mr Dolby was widely known.

MRS AMANDA DOLBY 68, IS DEAD OF PNEUMONIA
Mrs. Amanda Dolby, sixty-eight years of age, died Thursday evening at 5:15 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J R Iry of 503 S. Lafontaine street, after an illness since the 7th of February of pneumonia.

Mrs Dolby was born October 26, 1853 in Rock Creek township, the daughter of John and Lydia Henderson. Her marriage was to Samuel Dolby September 7 1875. The husband died Ja. 8, 1904. Surviving are four children as follows; Frank C Dolby, O E Dolby, Francis E Dolby and Mrs. J R Iry, all of this city. Also living are the following brothers and sisters: John Henderson of Markle, George Henderson of Near Brown's Corners, Francis Henderson of Near Browns' Corners, Mrs. Mary Pritchitt of Browns Corners and Mrs. Clarissa Rowe of Jackson township. Twelve grandchildren.

The deceased was a member of the United Brethren church of this city where funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. W Z Roberts will officiate and burial will be at Lancaster.
