Samuel Dolby of Sagamore, who has resided in this city for the past few weeks, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs Jessie Boring on Tuesday April 25 (1922) from Heart trouble. He was 76 years old on the 5th of March and leaves 10 children who are Harry Dolby and Mrs. Jess Boring of this city: Samuel Jr and Mrs Floyd Carrol of Sagamore; Mrs Henry Ledger of Pittsburgh and Charles, Arthur and William Dolby. He is also survived by a number of grandchildren.

Mr Dolby was a veteran of the Civil War and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Sagamore. Funeral services will be under the direction of the G A R and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Methodist Church.

MILITARY FUNERAL FOR DOLBY
With members of the G.A.R. and a firing squad of the Veterans of Foreign Wars providing a military escort, the funeral services over the remains of the late Samuel Dolby, of Sagamore, were held at the home of his daughter, Mrs Jesse Boring.

Mrs. Mary E. Dolby, 79, died 3-2-1926 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jessie M. Boring, 3rd St., DuBois., "one of the city's pioneer residents, she and her husband, late Samuel Dolby moved to this city 50 years ago, he passed away about 4 yrs., ago, she was a devout member 1st Methodist Episcopal Church.

Locke conducting services at 2:30 p.m.; burial in Rumbarger Cemetery by undertaker Hogsett. Mrs. Dolby was survived by 8 children: Harry E., Samuel and Mrs. Jesse Boring, of DuBois, Mrs. John White of Greenville, Mrs. Henry Ledger of Canonsburg, Arthur of Pittsburgh, Charles of Cincinnati and William of Youngstown.
