Jones Cemetery - Mt Zion, Wells Co IN
The funeral of Mrs. Rebecca Dolby, seventy-seven years old was conducted at the South Liberty Church in Wells county yesterday afternoon. Burial wwas in the Jones cemetery. Mrs. Dolby had been ill for several weeks and died at the home of her son, Roy Dolby near Mt. Zion in Wells County

Rebecca Sills-Landis-Buzzard-Dolby, daughter of George and Mary Sills, was born in Wabash County Indiana, November 1st, 1844 and departed this life January 7th, 1922 at the age of seventy-seven years, two months and six days. She was united in marriage to Isiah Landis in 1860 who deceased in 1871. To this union there were born two sons, Leander and Sylvester Landis, now residing in Wells County Indiana. Her second marriage was to Henry Buzzard, in 1877, who deceased in 1878. There were no children born to this union. March 17, 1880 she married William Dolby who deceased December 26, 1901. To this union there were born three sons, Charles M Dolby, Bridgeport Illinois, Elmer I. Dolby, Oak Park,Illinois, and Leroy O. Dolby, Mt. Zion,Indiana.
Mrs. Dolby leaves the five sons named above, also three stepdaughters. Mary E. Foust, Pulaski County, Indiana; Sarah F. Myers, Tomahaw, Wisconsin; Martha C. Morrison, Warren, Indiana; one stepson, Lewis H. Dolby, Mt. Zion, Indiana, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five stepgrandchildren, four Great-Grandchildren and thirteen Step Great-Granchildren, and a host of neighbors and friends to mourn her demise. She united with South Liberty Christian Church, in 1877, and continued in the faith until departing to her Heavenly Home.
