Carrie Lee Hart was born to J.N. and Martha Jane Hart in 1895. She had a happy childhood in a loving home and developed a cheerful and fun loving outlook. Carrie attended Golconda Schools, and after graduating from Golconda High School, married Harry A Nims.
Harry a civil engineer, was born July 2 1886 to Frank W M and Emma Palisteridge Nims in Keene NH. He had a sister, Louise Nims. Harry had attended Military Academy as a young man. Because of his work, Harry and Carrie traveled much of their lives, but returned to the Hart home in Golconda for their retirement. He enjoyed gardening and lanscaping the beautiful lawn.
Harry died Aug 2 1959. Carrie suffered a stroke several years before her death on Sep 1 1965, but she maintained her love of life and of people. They are buried in the IOOF Cemetery.
