The beginning of the day finds M.A. Hart with his "helpers" unloading the cars and setting up for the reunion. Sam Hart had arrived from GA the day before so was on hand to help this year.
--- John Tanner & Sam Hart on the left ----
Larry Hart is the son of Ezra & Geneva Hart, both deceased & his wife Sandy.
Larry & Sandy live in Longview, WA & Sandy retired just recently & Larry will retire next March.
They have attended several of our Reunion's in the past & tell me they will be here next year. They are really & I mean really a nice couple. - says M. A. Hart
Kim Hart says "Boy are you ever lucky to get a picture of Uncle Larry- whenever I pull out the camera he becomes quite difficult!!!!"
In front: Sharon Hart, wife of our Auctioner &
cousin Dick Hart, his mother & my (M.A.'s) Aunt Ora Hart,
widow of uncle Amos Hart.
Top: Cousin Bobby Roussel, his uncle Neal &
Aunt Christine (Hart) Mansfield. Looks like Christine
& Bobby are having a good discussion. About family,
I am sure -
Keith Roussel from Arizona..
There is quite a story behind the "walking sticks"
that he makes..
One was auctioned off at the Reunon - brought at least $50.00
"MASTER OF CEREMONIES"
Front Row: Sam Hart, Judie Boone, ?? , Christine Walters, John Hannah, Bette Crabtree
Richard "Dick" Hart, the family auctioneer. He did an excellent job of getting the highest possible price for the family items contributed to the auction. The Walking Stick brought over $50.00 and the Pillow Cases (that I really tried to get) brought over $25.00 and several "surprise items" brought some good money.
Judie Boone managed to get about three items.. I remember she got the "green frog" - the first item offered..
So many nice things offered and believe me - next year I'll be looking for another pair of hand stitched pillow cases.
